License Agreement
The general idea is:
You can use these slides in your own church
or organization, but you can't given them to someone else in
a different church or organization.
If you're not sure how it applies to you, PLEASE
contact me. I'm a lenient and understanding guy. If anyone's
going to make a liberal interpretation of these guidelines,
let it be me. That way you won't feel guilty, and I won't
be perturbed if I find out.
You Can....
- If you're a church, you can use these
slides in any of your meetings.
- You can alter the slides to fit your own
needs.
- You can send the PDF index files to anyone
you want.
You Can't....
- Let someone else use these slides, unless
they are covered by other terms in this agreement.
- Sell or give away these slides, whether
in their original or an altered version.
- Use the slides in a PowerPoint presentation
which you then give away to someone else.
- Post the slides on a website.
- Use these slides in any other way which--hey,
we're smart adults here--just doesn't seem right. Unless
you contact me for permission.
For a Church
In general, you need one CD (or download
license) per church location. You can then use the slides in
your church services, in Sunday school classes, in youth meetings,
and whatever else goes on.
At that location. If you have a daughter
church or churches, they need to buy their own set of slides.
As long as you're planting a church, feel free to use these
slides for them. But once a church is up and running, they
need to buy their own.
This license applies to your official church
use--like, by the staff. It doesn't mean anyone in your congregation
is free to use these slides (for instance, a businessman who
would like to spice up a motivational seminar he's giving).
Seminar Leaders
If you run around doing seminars, the "one
location" rule doesn't apply. Use the slides freely in
your seminars. And when people ask "Where did you get
those cool slides?", please tell them about Random Pokes.
If your organization develops presentations
centrally, and those presentations are then used by a number
of seminar presenters--all you need is one copy.
I'm a lenient guy. If you're not sure about
how this licensing info applies to your unique situation, please
ask me. I'd rather that you ask me, than that you live with
a guilty conscience. |
